THE ZION SHUTTLE SYSTEM
Zion National Park knows how to roll—literally! There are two free hop-on, hop-off shuttle systems: one for getting you deep into the wonders of Zion and another for bouncing around the charming town of Springdale. No tickets, no stress—just good old-fashioned bus magic.
For the latest shuttle schedules, check out the Click here for Zion National Park shuttle information (because Google knows everything). As a general rule, during the busy season, the shuttles run at least every 5-15 minutes—so you’re never far from your next adventure (or at least your next attempt at finding an empty seat). They start at sunrise (for the early birds) and run a little past dark (for those still recovering from that last hike).
About 20 years ago, the park realized that trying to fit a bazillion cars into a tiny canyon wasn’t the best idea (who would’ve thought?!), so they introduced a shuttle system. And let’s be honest, it was a genius move. Unless you're visiting in winter, this bus is your golden ticket into Zion Canyon. And trust us, that 50-minute ride to the top is a highlight all on its own—think of it as a nature documentary on wheels (but with more real-life squirrels).
So hop on, sit back, and get ready to fall in love with Zion, one shuttle stop at a time.
