The Narrows

Wade through the Virgin River as it carves its way through towering slot canyons. This unique hike involves traversing the riverbed, with canyon walls soaring up to a thousand feet overhead. It's essential to check current conditions and obtain any necessary permits before setting out.


West Rim Trail (Top-Down Route)

Spanning approximately 16 miles from Lava Point to the Grotto, the West Rim Trail offers hikers panoramic views of Zion's vast wilderness. This strenuous trek can be done as a long day hike or an overnight backpacking trip, with permits required for camping.

Observation Point

Offering a higher vantage point than Angels Landing, Observation Point provides expansive views of Zion Canyon and its surroundings. The traditional route via the East Rim Trail is currently closed due to rockfalls, but hikers can still access the point via the East Mesa Trailhead.
